BATTLE TESTED!
July certainly had it’s ups and downs. If you’re an OG in the Star Atlas space, you’ll know this isn’t anything out of the ordinary. It was certainly sad to see many talented team members leave the Star Atlas and on the back of the restructuring news, $ATLAS & $POLIS tokens did see a dip. This meant less USDC donated this month, but… we are here for the long term!
In the previous June report, I mentioned our surplus of R4 that was being resold on the secondary marketplace. With the additional revenue the plan was to stack $ATLAS in order to lock and get a discount on market fees. As you can gather, this has a nice feedback loop and there’s also the additional perk of earning $POLIS from emissions in the process.
After just a couple of weeks we had enough $ATLAS to stake and receive Tier 1 market discounts and we are well on our way toward the Tier 2 level. There is currently 12k $ATLAS locked, so the next goal to aim for is 75k. We might have an update on this in sometime in the new year.
Star Atlas Fleet Report
The fleet now consists of 95 ships & 11 Claim Stakes currently staked in Star Atlas Faction Fleet, earning 145.13 $ATLAS and approx. 75k R4 per day.

Eventually SCORE gameplay will sunset, so these will remain in the wallet and be leased for free to Khmer youth in Cambodia. This will allow them to jump into the Star Atlas metaverse without the need for any upfront cost and have them earning their own assets within the play and earn economy.
POLIS Locker Report
Polis Locker Balance (as of July 31st) is 5'812 $POLIS earning approx. 7.1 $POLIS per day.
The locker was at 5379.60 POLIS at the beginning of the month. 300 $POLIS was added and 107 $POLIS rewards were earned with 50% compounded back into the locker and 50% exchanged daily for USDC.
Donation Report
A Twitter poll was sent out for the Star Atlas community to vote on. We had 37 votes with 54% choosing Variety Children’s Charity as the beneficiary of this months funds.
It was great to see more Star Atlas community members voting this month. The main purpose for Atlas Grace is to be a community run project and not just the work of one person.

What’s Next For Atlas Grace?
We will continue to donate monthly to IRL charities using the Star Atlas Fleet & Locker staking rewards. The longer vision is to set up a physical location in Siem Reap Cambodia where teens & young adults can have a safe and fun environment to learn, game & make friends not only in their local area but online amongst THE BEST web3 gaming community out there.
As many of you may already know, Siem Reap is a place near and dear to my heart. I spent more than 5 years teaching, mentoring and building friendships and connections there. I hope to return in 2023 where I can once again continue this work, setting up gaming computers, holding free workshops and teaching financial literacy, 3D & graphic design and of course all things Star Atlas.
