In April, Atlas Grace knocked over some more big milestones. Three new scholars joined our ranks, led by Scholar Johm, who quickly assumed a mentoring role. Tier 2 Scholar Packs were unlocked for our scholars as we transitioned to Starbased. Our scholars’ first encounter with the Unreal Engine version of Star Atlas sparked excitement, while progress towards securing an office space amplifies anticipation for future operations. Star Atlas Fleet Report
The fleet now comprises 240 ships and 26 Claim Stakes. That’s an additional 13 ships since our last fleet report! Having more ships enables us to participate in SAGE labs and compound our efforts. This core fleet of ships will provide the funding needed for our physical location here in Siem Reap Cambodia. More on this later in the report, but for now…

Locker Report
Polis Locker Balance (as of April 30th) is 8'460 $POLIS earning approx. 9.0 $POLIS per day.
The locker was at 8'318 POLIS at the beginning of the month. 142 $POLIS was added to the locker this month. 271 $POLIS was earned in emission rewards with 50% being compounded back into the locker and 50% exchanged daily for USDC.
Atlas Locker Balance (as of March 31st) is 77'777 $ATLAS earning approx. 0.2 $POLIS per day as well as receiving a 10% fee reduction on surplus R4 sold on the secondary marketplace.
Donation Report
The prices of $ATLAS and $POLIS took a dip this month compared to the previous month. Nevertheless, we still managed to raise an impressive $65.24 for charity.

A Twitter X poll was posted to the Star Atlas community and with 28 votes Deaf Child Hope was chosen as this month’s beneficiary.
The charities shown in the poll were found from an extensive list of organization listed on The Giving Block website that accept crypto donations.

Scholarship Program
For those following our expanding Scholarship program, we welcomed three new scholars into our ranks this month! These scholars are long-time friends whom I have mentored for over a decade, ever since our first meeting at a boys’ home I ran. Now, they are benefiting from the incredible opportunities presented by Star Atlas, and I couldn’t be happier to work with them once again.
Every Wednesday, we host our Atlas Grace Brew, where we gather in local coffee shops to escape the heat, enjoy cold beverages, and discuss all things Star Atlas. As there is much to cover, we’ve been taking it slow, starting with staking an xx-small ship in the Faction Fleet and gradually transitioning into Starbased gameplay.
As the education progresses, so do the game assets available for scholars to use for free as they build up their knowledge and begin to compound their own fleets. All four scholars have now progressed to Tier 2 packs, which include an xx-small fleet, a Tier 1 Claim stake, R4, and some $SOL & $ATLAS to kickstart their journey.
Once they have amassed a substantial fleet of their own, the borrowed ships will be returned, allowing other scholars to benefit from the program.

What’s Next For Atlas Grace?
We will continue to donate monthly to IRL charities using the Star Atlas Fleet & Locker staking rewards. The vision for 2024 is to set up a physical location in Siem Reap Cambodia where teens & young adults can have a safe and fun environment to learn, game & make friends not only in their local area but online amongst THE BEST web3 gaming community out there.
As many of you may already know, Siem Reap is a place near and dear to my heart. I spent more than 5 years teaching, mentoring and building friendships and connections there. I‘ve now returned and am actively looking for a rental space where I can once again continue this work, setting up gaming computers, holding free workshops and teaching financial literacy, 3D & graphic design and of course all things Star Atlas
